Role Overview:
As a Tealium EventStream & AudienceStream Developer, you will spearhead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Tealium’s event and customer data platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to design robust data flows, enable real-time personalization, and integrate platforms to maximize the value of customer data.
Key Responsibilities

EventStream Implementation:
- Set up and configure Tealium EventStream for server-side event tracking and data distribution.
- Implement event feeds and connect sources to enhance real-time event ingestion and processing.

AudienceStream Implementation:
- Configure Tealium AudienceStream CDP to define and manage visitor profiles, attributes, and audiences.
- Enable real-time audience segmentation and activation across marketing platforms.

Data Integration:
- Develop and maintain connectors and integrations with analytics, CRM, marketing automation, and other third-party systems.
- Implement robust workflows to streamline data activation and orchestration.

Real-Time Personalization:
- Collaborate with marketing and analytics teams to deliver real-time personalized experiences using enriched customer data.
- Support use cases such as abandonment triggers, loyalty programs, and cross-channel targeting.

Data Strategy and Governance:
- Design and optimize data collection schemas to align with business goals and privacy requirements.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.

Debugging and QA:
- Troubleshoot issues in event streams, connectors, and profiles.
- Perform end-to-end testing to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Collaboration and Training:
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Provide training and documentation to clients and internal teams on using Tealium EventStream and AudienceStream effectively.
Required Skills & Experience

Tealium Expertise:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Tealium EventStream and AudienceStream platforms.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript and API integrations.
- Experience with server-side and real-time data processing.
- Familiarity with webhooks, cloud functions, and data distribution.

Customer Data Proficiency:
- Strong understanding of customer data platforms, audience segmentation, and identity resolution.
- Experience enabling use cases such as cart abandonment, personalized retargeting, and lifecycle marketing.

Problem-Solving:
- Proven ability to debug complex issues and develop scalable solutions.

Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a client-centric approach.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Tealium certifications (e.g., AudienceStream Specialist, EventStream Specialist).
- Familiarity with other CDPs or tag management systems.
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for server-side data handling.
- Understanding of marketing automation and personalization platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo, Braze).
